Originally created in 1971, Ueda illustrated the changes of seasons in his hometown Tottori with children as his main subjects. This collotype portfolio was completed following the request of Ueda’s granddaughter Kaoruko Nakada in 2006, reflecting the modernist master’s advanced aesthetic and material sentiments.
