This special collotype print was created from Antony Cairn’s (b.1980) long term project of photographing London by night, IBM_LDN4_20, utilises redundant IBM computer punch cards as a base in which Cairn’s works are printed on digitally, later assembling them to create a composite image. A continuation on the artist’s fascination and obsession of photography’s endless link to technology, IBM_LDN4_20 is a captivating study of his city London expressed in collotype.
